About Sabrimala
Sabrimala is a renowned pilgrim center in the state of Kerala. It is located among the rugged Sahyadri hills of the Western Ghats at a height of 914 meters above sea level. The calm and serene atmosphere of this place has a very tranquilizing effect on the mind.

After worshipping in this temple you can go to another temple located in the close vicinity of this temple. It is dedicated to Lord Ayyapppan's companion Vavar or Babar. However one must be kept in mind that this temple remains open only during the days of Mandalapooja in the month of November.
