Manas National Park

"A cure for boredom is curiosity"

If you have the curiosity, then do come to Manas National Park with your friend and family. Nestled in the state of Assam, you can find a serene backdrop that extends over 519.77 square kilometers of land, and was affirmed as a National Park in the year 1980.

This has been done deliberately keeping in mind its positional advantages and also its abundant wild life reserves. It is one of the most luminous Tiger Projects in India. You can visit this place because it has a natural splendor and also a situational advantage.

It is located almost 40 km from the civilization at Barpeta. This park actually enters in to the Bhutan border and there too it is known as Royal Manas National Park. One has to access the Barpeta Road before going inside the park.

The best time to visit here is from November to February. The ideal way to explore the park is to go by a four wheeler, and the best place is however the foothills of the mountains where numerous animals are found like buffaloes, rhinoceros and also wild elephants.

Panthers and Royal Bengal Tigers are also found in abundance ere. You can view these animals if luck is favorable and you go at the right spot. Deer, sloth deer, Smooth Indian Otters are found in this place, along with Golden Languor, Macaques etc. www.indiaprofile.com offers you the advantage of an online booking for the Manas National Park.
