The Bush Betta Bandipur is a deluxe wildlife resort and offers luxurious accommodation at the heart of the wilderness. The Bandipur Tiger Reserve situated in Mysore District of Karnataka was among the first nine Tiger Reserves established in India at the launch of Project Tiger in 1973. This tiger reserve is contiguous to Madhumalai Wildlife Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu state to south and Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala state to the south-west. To its north-west lies the Nagarhole National Park.
