Kerala Backwaters and Karnataka Tour

Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
Met on arrival and transferred to hotel we are holding for immediate check in. Relax at the hotel until next morning.

Day 02: Mumbai
Morning city tour visiting Juhu beach, Gateway of India, Elephanta caves. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Mumbai - Trivandrum - Kovalam
Transfer to the airport and fly to Trivandrum. Met on arrival and transferred to the hotel in Kovalam. Rest of the day free. You may also choose to take an herbal body toning massage on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
Morning take an excursion to Cape Comorin. Visit the Padmanabhapuram Palace and the Archeological museum. Return to Kovalam in the evening and stay overnight.

Day 05: Kovalam - Varkala
After breakfast drive to Varkala. Tranquil and uspoilt, Varkala is one of the most fascinating spots in Kerala. You may also choose to try some traditional body therapy on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Varkala - Kumarakom
Today we would take you to Kumarakom by speedboat or a luxury cruiser. The serene locale amid the backwaters is a perfect place to relax.

Day 07: Kumarakom
Morning pay a visit to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. You may also indulge in some adventure sports like windsailing and water skiing or take a canoe out into the quiet lakes on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Kumarakom - Periyar
Drive to Periyar in the morning. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore on your own.

Day 09: Periyar
Today explore the Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary. A local guide or naturalist would accompany you to familiarize you with the rare birds, trees and flowers that you may come across. Spot the wild lives in the natural setting, if your lucky enough you may chance upon a tiger too. Bathing wild elephants reveling with water is a lifetime spectacle.

Day 10 - 11: Periyar - Kottayam - Backwater
In the morning, proceed to Kottayam and board a houseboat. Cruise through the paddy fields, palm groves, villages afloat on water until you reach Alleppey in the morning of Day 12. l.

Day 12: Alleppey - Cochin
Met on arrival at Alleppey and drive to Cochin. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace. In he evening attend a Kathakali show. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Cochin - Calicut
This morning proceed to Calicut. On arrival check into hotel. Tour the city in he afternoon visiting Pazhassiraja Museum, The Art Gallery and Krishna Art Museum. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14: Calicut - Treehouse
Proceed to Vythiri just 65kms off from Calicut. Here you stay overnight at the Treehouse perched at a height of 86ft from the ground. An indigenous cane elevator would take you to the Treehouse.

Day 15: Treehouse
Explore the area on your own.

Day 16: Treehouse - Ooty
Check out from the Treehouse in the morning and proceed to Ooty. On arrival check into hotel.

Day 17: Ooty
Morning drive to Lhasa, on arrival check into hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 18: Ooty - Mysore
Morning drive to Mysore. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon city tour visiting Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills, Nandi bull, Brindavan Gardens

Day 19: Mysore - Bangalore
Visit the Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery in the morning. Later drive to Bangalore. On arrival check into hotel and stay overnight.

Day 20: Bangalore
After breakfast proceed to a city tour. Later transfer to the airport and fly to Mumbai. Met on arrival and transferred to the hotel where wee are holding a few rooms for Wash & Change. After dinner, transfer to the airport to catch the international flight for departure. .
