Day 01: Arrival at Mumbai
Meet our representative on arrival and transferred to hotel. Traditional welcome and immediate check-in. For the rest of the night, relax at the hotel.
Day 02: Mumbai
Morning visit the Gateway of India (16th century - the stone-built archway designed by Wittett reflects the Gujarati architectural style) and later take an excursion cruising through the Arabian Sea to reach the Elephanta Caves (7th century - the rock temples dedicated to Lord Shiva perched on a hilltop in the island). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Mumbai - Goa
Transfer to the airport and fly to Goa. Met on arrival and transferred to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Goa
Morning visit to north Goa and south Goa in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel
Day 05: Goa
Relax for the full day on the beach.
Day 06: Goa - Belgaum - Badami (275kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Badami enroute visiting Belgaum. Visit the Bengaum Fort, Kamala Basti, the Jain Temple, the Jama Masjid, The Kapileshwar Temple and the Ananthashayana. The old city and the modern one lies here side by side creating a charming combination of opposites. Proceed to Badami and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Badami
After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Badami. Nearly 18 inscriptions, dating back to the period between 6th and 9th century, lie in and around the city. Visit the cave temples of various religions like Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Lakeside Bhutanatha Temple is one of the most celebrated temples.
Day 08: Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet
Proceed to Hospet via Aihole and Pattadakal. At Aihole you would see the renowned Indian temple architecture in its formative stage. On the left bank of the Malaprabha River, Pattadakal is a World Heritage Site. Visit the Virupaksha Temple and Mallikarjuna. Continue to drive to Hospet. Check into the hotel on arrival and spend the night.
Day 09: Hospet
After breakfast proceed to an excursion to Hampi, once the capital of Vijayanagar Empire. The boulder-laden landscape, comprising of the ruins of temples, chariots, elephant stables and royal enclosures, is a fascinating sight. Overnight at Karnataka.
Day 10 : Hospet - Hassan
Drive to Hassan. On arrival check into the hotel. Later take an excursion to Belur and Halebid. Both the sites have beautiful examples of Hoysala architecture. Channnakesava which took 103 years to be completed is still worshipped daily.
Day 11 : Hassan - Sravanbelagola - Hassan
Morning take another excursion to Sravanabelagola. The 17mtrs high monolithic statue of Gomteswar on he top of a hill Indragiri overlooks the town. Overnight at Hassan.
Day 12: Hassan - Madikeri
Morning drive to Madikeri. On arrival check into the hotel. The place is known its unmatched scenic beauty. Visit the Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Nisargadhama. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Madikeri - Mysore
After breakfast drive to Mysore. On arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon we take you on a city tour. Visit the Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills, Nandi bull, Brindavan Gardens with musical fountains & colourful lights. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Mysore
Morning city tour covering the Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery housed in the Jagmohan Palace. The gallery showcases a collection of exquisite paintings. In the afternoon pay a visit to the Somnathpura temple a fantastic example of the Hoysala architecture. Overnight at Mysore hotel.
Day 15: Mysore - Srirangapatnam - Bangalore
Morning at leisure, afternoon proceed to Bangalore via Srirangapatnam. Srirangapatnam was the capital of valiant kings Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. The magnificent summer palaceand the museum are worth a visit. Overnight at Bangalore.
Day 16: Bangalore - Mumbai (departure)
Morning city tour of Bangalore visiting Vidhan Saudha, Nandi Temple, Cubbon Park, lallbagh Garden. Fly to Mumbai in the evening. Met on arrival and transferred to hotel we are holding for Wash & Change. Have your dinner hosted by us. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
