Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival, you will be received and welcomed by a representative of 'At The Footsteps of Buddha - Buddhist Tour to Agra' at the Airport, who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi
The second day of your tour is reserved for a full day trip of Delhi covering attractions like India Gate, The Memorial of Martyrs, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial, Jantar Mantar, Purana Quila, Rajghat and all the other important spots of Delhi. Stay at the hotel for overnight.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur
On the third day, drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check in at a hotel. The evening is free for shopping and relaxing. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Jaipur
Take a tour covering attractions like amber fort, hawa mahal, city palace, jantar mantar, johari bazaar and so on. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur - Agra
Drive to Agra and visit Fatehpur Sikri en route. On arrival at Agra check into a hotel and in the afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal, red fort and tomb of Itmad - ud- Daula. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 06: Agra - Varanasi
Catch flight to Varanasi in the morning. On arrival transfer to a hotel. In the afternoon visit Sarnath. Return to Varanasi for overnight stay.
Day 07: Varanasi
Enjoy a boat ride early in the morning and later go for a city tour. Explore the ancient temples of Varanasi and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - 09: Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Stay at Bodhgaya for two nights and go for excursion to Rajgir, Nalanda, Sapta Pari cave and Venevamas- the important Buddhist pilgrim centers.
Day 10: Bodhgaya - Vaishali - Kushinagar
Proceed to Vaishali in the morning and visit the Ashok Pillar, lotus tank and Chaumukhi. From there proceed to Kushinagar for overnight stay.
Day 11: Kushinagar - Lumbini
Visit Mahanirvana temple in the morning along with Buddhist monasteries. Later proceed to Lumini for overnight stay.
Day 12: Lumini - Kapilvastu - Sravasti - Balrampur
Visit the Ashoka's Pillar at Lumini and in the afternoon proceed to Balrampur. En route visit and Kapilvastu and Sravasti and visit the monasteries there. Stay overnight at Balrampur.
Day 13: Balrampur - Lucknow
After the city tour in the morning, drive to Lucknow. Check into a hotel and stay overnight.
Day14: Lucknow
In the morning, tour the city of Lucknow covering Imambara and Rumi Darwaza. In the evening, transfer to airport to catch flight to Delhi.
Day 15: Delhi
From Delhi, you will catch onward flight to your hometown. The tour ends here.
