Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati
After coming to Guwahati, go to the hotel and stay there for the night.

Day 02: Guwahati - Cherrapunjee
Have breakfast in the morning and go to the holy Kamakhya Temple. It ranks among the major pilgrimage sites of the Hindus. More than million pilgrims come to this temple during the ritual of Ambubashi. Come back to the hotel after you pay homage to Mother Goddess Kamakhya. Later start you trip to Cherrapunjee, which is around 170 kms away. It is the place which receives the highest rainfall in the world. On the route, go to places such as Umiam Lake or Borapani. It is lovely placid lake on the hills. Arrive at Cherrapunjee and stay there.

Day 03: Cherrapunjee
Go to the Mawmluh caves. It is around half kms away from Cherrapunjee. There are five river passages in the cave which are beautiful. This underground cave stretches up to 7 kms. Visit the waterfalls as well. Return to Cherrapunjee resort and stay.

Day 04: Cherrapunjee
Go to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge after you have breakfast. It is a great example of the local architecture of Khasi tribesmen who made these to cross the streams. Come to the Chera Tourist Resort and have lunch. Spend the evening in leisure in the midst of the fantastic Khasi hills. You can also see the plains of Bangladesh far away. Return to Cherrapunjee and stay there.

Day 05: Cherrapunjee - Shillong
Drive to Shillong after you have breakfast. It is known as the �Scotland of the East and is the capital of Meghalaya. On the route, go to the Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls. Spend the night at Shillong.

Day 06: Shillong
In the morning, undertake sightseeing trips in Shillong. This beautiful city is the home of the Khasi tribes. Go to the various tourist spots and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 07: Shillong - Guwahati - Depart
In the morning, drive from Shillong to Guwahati. Reach the airport and catch the flight.
