The largest Mosque in India, built with a high precision and technique, by Shah Jahan in 1656, covers an area of 261ft x 90ft. It is also known as Masjid-i-Jahan-Numa, meaning the Mosque commanding a view of the world. There are numerous places still to visit after you are satisfied with the elegant domes and minarets of Jama Masjid.
