How to reach Karwar
Karwar in Karnataka is well connected to its nearby places. To reach Karwar by air, the nearest airport would be Dabolim in Goa. It takes around two and a half hours to reach Karwar from there. While traveling by train, it is to be noted that the fast trains that connect Karwar to Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Mangalore and Cochin to not halt at Karwar. So ideally, one has to get down at Mandgaon in Goa or Ankola and reach Karwar by road. There are however a few slow trains that stop at Karwar.
