Day 01: Arrive Bagdogra flying from Delhi / Kolkata
After coming to Bagdogra airport, transfer to Darjeeling by road. Transfer to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 02: Darjeeling
One of the well-liked hill stations in India, Darjeeling is located in the midst of the lower Himalayas. The place is also known for the tea plantations. Make a full day tour of Darjeeling and see various places. At dawn, go to the Tiger Hill and see sunrise over the Himalayas. Later go to the Ghoom monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and other places. Stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03: Darjeeling � Kalimpong (70 km, 3 hours)
From Darjeeling, go to Kalimpong. It is known for its scenic beauty and idyllic charm. In the afternoon, go to the Tharpa Choling Monastery and the nurseries. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 04: Kalimpong � Gangtok (77 km, 3 hours)
Have breakfast and later go to Gangtok from Kalimpong. Positioned at an altitude of around 1,600 m, Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and is known for its idyllic charm and local culture. Make trips to Do-drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom and other places.
Day 05: Gangtok
Make a full day trip in Gangtok and go to the Rumtek Monastery, Tashi View Point and other attractions. Night stay will be at Gangtok.
Day 06: Gangtok � Phuentsholing (200 km, 6 hours)
Have breakfast and drive to Phuentsholing in the border of Bhutan. On the route, see the tea plantations. In the evening, go to Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang and the local markets. Overnight stay.
Day 07: Phuentsholing � Thimphu (180 km, 6 hours)
Go to Thimphu after you have breakfast. Go to the Kharbandi Goemba, which is a beautiful monastery. Also go to the Simtkha Dzong, which is an ancient fortress.
Day 08: Thimphu
Make a full day tour of Thimphu. Go to Trashichhodzong fortress, Memorial Chhorten Stupa, Third King, National Library, The Textile and Folk Heritage Museum, Government Handicrafts Emporium and so on. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 09: Thimphu � Punakha (75 km, 2.1/2 hours)
Make a trip to Punakha from Thimphu. En route, cross the Dochula pass. After you come to the place, go to the Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chhorten, Wangduephodrang and other places. Stay at Punakha for the night.
Day 10: Punakha � Paro (125 km, 4.1/2 hours)
Have breakfast and make driving trips to Paro. In the afternoon, make a visit to National Museum, Ta Dzong and the other attractions. Later in the day, go to Rinpung Dzong. Night stay will be at Paro.
Day 11: Paro
Make trips to Durkgyel Dzong which is a ruined fortress. Make a visit to the traditional farm house and see the local farming techniques. Go to Taktsang Monastery, Kyichu Lhakhang and other places.
Day 12: Paro Depart
After you have breakfast, reach Paro Airport and take the onward flight.
