Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi International airport, the Indian Horizons
representative will welcome you and take you to your hotel.
After lunch, you will be taken on an afternoon sightseeing tour
of Old and New Delhi. Visit the famous Red Fort, Jama Masjid,
Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Raj Ghat, Humayun's
Tomb and Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, etc.
Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi - Sariska
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we head for the famous
Sariska Tiger Reserve by road. On arrival check into the forest
lodge/resort at Sariska and relax. After freshening up and lunch,
enjoy an afternoon Jungle Excursion for game viewing at the
Sariska Tiger Reserve. For dinner and overnight stay we return
to the forest lodge/resort.
Day 03: Sariska - Jaipur
After a thrilling early morning Jungle drive, we proceed towards
the Pink City Jaipur, en-route visiting the famous Amber Palace
& Fort, in the Aravalli hills on the outskirts of Jaipur.
At Jaipur we check in at the hotel. After freshening up, you
will be taken to an afternoon sightseeing tour of the Jaipur
city visiting the famous City Palace, Jantar Mantar and the
Hawa Mahal.
Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore
After breakfast we drive to Sawai Madhopur, the nearest point
to the famous Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. On arrival we head
straight for the Forest Lodge/Resort to relax. In the evening,
you will be taken on an exciting Jungle excursion in the park
for wildlife viewing.
Spend the night at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 05: Ranthambore National Park
After breakfast, spend the day in an exciting jungle safari
for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing. There will be one jeep/elephant
safari in the morning and one in the evening. If you are lucky
you can find a tiger in its natural habitat.
For dinner we retire to the Forest Lodge/Resort and stay overnight
there.
Day 06: Ranthambore National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a 2nd day of jungle safari for tiger
and wildlife viewing. Two elephant/jeep safaris- one each in
the morning and evening. Also explore the richly diverse vegetation
and avifauna at the park.
Have diinner and spend the night at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur
After breakfast we go on an exciting morning jungle drive into
the Ranthambore National Park. Later, we drive to the world-famous
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. We reach Bharatpur early in the afternoon
and check in at the forest lodge/ resort. In the evening, take
a short walk to the sanctuary for the 1st phase of bird watching.
Dinner and overnight stay at Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 08: Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
After breakfast at the resort, enjoy a memorable boat ride through
the fresh water marshes and bogs to the nesting colonies of

Stay at Forest Lodge/Resort for the night.
Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra
After an exciting morning of bird viewing, we head for Agra-
the city of the Taj. At Agra we check in at the hotel to relax.
After freshening up, you will be taken on an exciting afternoon
sightseeing tour of Agra. Visit the famous white marble monument
Taj Mahal made by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the majestic
Agra Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah.
Stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.
Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
After breakfast we head for the airport to board a morning flight
to Khajuraho- a UNESCO World Heritage Site- world-renowned for
its temple sculptures. On arrival visit the Western Group of
Temples famous for its erotic sculptures. Later, we drive to
the famous Bandhavgarh National Park.
Have dinner and stay overnight at the Forest resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 11: Bandhavgarh National Park
After an early breakfast at the resort, enjoy a morning jungle
safari for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing. Bandhavgarh
has the highest tiger density in the country which increases
your possibilities of spotting a tiger manifold. After lunch
we go on another safari for game viewing.
We return to the Forest Lodge/Resort for the night.
Day 12: Bandhavgarh National Park
After breakfast at resort, enjoy a 2nd day of morning and evening
jungle safari for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing. You can
also visit the thousand year old Bandhavgarh Fort now in ruins.
Spend the night at the Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 13: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park
After breakfast at the resort, we drive to Kanha National Park.
Famous as the most well maintained national park in Asia, Kanha
has a considerable population of tiger and other wildlife. Notably,
the white tiger was first spotted here. Check in at the popular
Kanha Jungle Resort and spend the rest of the night there.
Day 14: Kanha National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of jungle excursion in the
park. Enjoy a morning and evening jungle excursion replete with
nature walks and exciting Elephant/jeep rides for tiger tracking
and wildlife viewing.
Overnight stay will be at Kanha Jungle Resort.
Day 15: Kanha National Park
After breakfast get ready for a 2nd day of morning and evening
jungle excursion. Explore the richly diverse flora and fauna
of the park with nature walks. Experience exciting Elephant
rides for tiger tracking and wildlife viewing in the Kanha Notational
Park. Apart from large sports Kanha also has a wide array of
birds.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Kanha Jungle Resort.
Day 16: Kanha -Nagpur
After breakfast enjoy a morning Jungle excursion in the park.
Return to the resort for lunch, after which we drive to Nagpur,
an important city in Maharashtra. Arrive at Nagpur and check
in at the hotel. Here you can shop for the very famous oranges
if we are not too late.
Have dinner and sleep over your fatigue at the hotel in Nagpur.
Day 17: Nagpur - Bhubaneshwar
In the morning we board a flight to Bhubaneshwar. At Bhubaneshwar
we check in at the hotel. After freshening up, we drive to the
famous Konark- a temple dedicated to the Sun god very famous
for sculptures. Return to Bhubaneshwar in the evening and spend
the rest of the night at the hotel in Bhubaneshwar.
Day 18: Bhuwaneshwar - Calcutta
In the morning we board a flight to Kolkata (formerly Calcutta).
At Kolkata we check in at the hotel, relax and have lunch. In
the afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Kolkata visiting
the famous Victoria Memorial, Kali Temple, the National Museum
and the Howrah Bridge. Shop for the fine Bengal fabric woven
on the loom.
Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Kolkata.
Day 19: Calcutta - Guwahati - Kaziranga
In the morning we board a flight to Guwahati. On arrival, you
will driven to the famous Kaziranga National Park, known for
its one-horned Indian Rhinos. At Kaziranga we check in at the
Forest Lodge /Resort.
Overnight stay will be at Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 20: Kaziranga National Park
Enjoy a daylong jungle safaris (Jeep/Elephant) in the morning
and evening in the park for Rhino tracking and wildlife viewing.
Stay overnight at Forest Lodge/Resort.
Day 21: Kaziranga National Park
Enjoy a 2nd day of morning and evening jungle safaris (Jeep/Elephant)
in the park for Rhino tracking and wildlife viewing through
the marshy elephant grass forest.
Have dinner and spend your last night in Kaziranga at the Forest
Lodge/Resort.
Day 22: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Delhi
Enjoy breakfast at the Resort before we drive back to Guwahati
for flight to Delhi. At Delhi check in at the hotel and relax.
Spend the rest of the day in your own way. You can explore the
ciy streets or shop for trinkets and souvenirs at the Chandni
Chowk or Karol Bagh markets.
Enjoy dinner at the hotel and spend the night ruminating on
your experiences in the Encounter the Jungle tour.
Day 23: Delhi - Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day at leisure till
the time of transfer to the Delhi International Airport for
flight to your onward destination or way back home with sweet
memories of Encounter the Jungle tour.
