The Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum was the residence bungalow of the late Indian prime minister Mrs Indira Gandhi .It was here that in the lawn that she was assassinated by her body guards on 31st October 1984. This bungalow has been converted into a memorial museum. The museum hosts beautiful photographs of the Gandh0-nehruian family, and her life from childhood to her last days, her writings, the blood stained saree which she wore when she was murdered, her study, living room all of which can be seen by the visitors. The path in which she walked outside the bungalow for the last time is also preserved with a glass enclave to keep her last memories alive at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum .It is a must visit among the places to see in Delhi.
