Introduction

Situated about 6 kilometers from the city of Bikaner, the Shiv Bari Temple is also known as the Laleshwar Mahadev Temple. The temple, built by Doongar Singhji is dedicated to Lord Shiva which is made of black marble. The month of February is the best time to visit the Shiv Bari Temple as the festival of Shravan begins then.

Description

The temple has two massive reservoirs known as Bawaris. The temple houses beautiful paintings and other interesting decorations. The Nandi Bull opposite the main shrine is a special attraction of Shiv Bari Temple.

The crafted porches, pillars and domes are exceptionally magnificent. The collection of miniature paintings of the temple is wide.
