Nahargarh Fort

Nahargarh Fort is situated on the hill of sand stone near the city Jaipur, Rajasthan. The fort is the example of rich history of Jaipur that the city experienced. The forts and the palaces are the bright example that shows the richness of the city in the past and that makes city very precious in the present days. The word ‘Nahargarh’ means ‘the den of tiger’.

Histories say that the fort was built by Nahar Singh. And the construction started in the year 1734 by Sawai Jai Singh.
