The Chirag-i-Dihli's Dargah is the burial place of Nasir ud din Mahmud. Khirki Masjid

The Khirki Masjid heralds the grand Mughal buildings and is characterized by exquisite latticework on its carved stone screens. The roof has small domes and sunlight penetrates through them into the inner sanctum of the Mosque.

Kalkaji Temple

The Kalkaji Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kalka Devi. The oldest surviving portion of this temple dates back to 1764 but legend has it that this temple is three thousand years old. The story goes that the Pandavas and the Kauravas also prayed here. The aarati held in the evening is outstanding.

Lotus Temple

The temple belongs to the world's youngest religion, the Bahai faith. The founder of this faith believed that there is just one race in the world and that is Humanity. So the main aim of mankind should be unification. Following this ideal, the temple is open to all irrespective of religion, caste or color. The temple is shaped like a lotus because this flower is the symbol of purity and tenderness and has long been associated with worship.

Mubarak Shah's tomb

This is an octagonal tomb built after the death of Mubarak Shah in the year 1434. The southern gate of the tomb survives till date and has arched openings. Apart from the dome which is embellished with colored plasters and Koranic inscriptions, the other remarkable features of the tomb are the chhatris and the lantern shaped canopies of the turrets.

Nizamuddin's Shrine

This is the shrine of the famous Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Chishti. It is visited by a large number of visitors each year. Apart from the tomb of this saint who was loved and revered by all, tombs of other distinguished individuals are also found here. A mosque is also there within its premises.
