Coronation Durbar Site - located about 20 kilometers from Connaught Place, the Coronation Durbar site is where the British held Durbars in 1877, 1903 and 1911. In the 1877 Durbar, Queen Elizabeth was declared the Empress of India. It is now a famous tourist site which houses many statues of Britain.

Majnu ka Tila - it is a hermitage located on the banks of the River Yamuna. Today this shrine is considered very pious and devotees visit the GUrdwara regularly.

Shalimar Bagh - it stretched about 6 miles along the Grand Trunk Road. After the mutiny of 1857, the garden was sold.
