Introduction

Located in Wazirabad at the intersection of Outer Ring Road and Loni Road, Shah Alam's Tomb is a popular tourist site in Delhi. It houses the remains of Shah Alam, a saint during the reign of Feroze Shah Tughlaq.

The architecture of Shah Alam's Tomb is marvelous. Apart from the square shaped Shah Alam's Tomb there are other 14th century structures like a mosque with three domes. The five arches and prayer chamber are other interesting structures. The mosque has intricate designs and lattice work windows. Shah Alam's Tomb is situated in the courtyard of the mosque.

Some other interesting structures in the area are a bridge with nine arches that was built during the reign of Ferize Shah Tughlaq.
