National Science Museum at Delhi was an attempt by the India Government to impart basic facts of Science to all people, irrespective of their ages and IQ.

This belongs to the Department of Tourism of India, and the objective of it is to attract more and more students in to the field of science so that they may be able to cope up with the gradual progress of the world and stand up boldly to rescue the country's security or defense by serving science and technology, much like the President APJ Abdul Kalam.

There are numerous facts and details that are on display in the Museum, and so the special events include the following:

Cyberskool: Actually this offers a course on various subjects like the Application of the Internet, Teacher's Training and also the Student's training programs. This course also offers a certificate to the successful candidates.

Heritage Gallery: To make the students understand and feel the amount of dedication and sacrifice that the Indian Freedom Fighters to achieve independence.

Dinosaurs Gallery: This is very interesting for the students because they enjoy witnessing the animals of the Mesozoic era.

Human Biology Gallery: To make the students familiar with Human anatomy this gallery is functional.

Fun and Science Library: This provides the latest reading material for students.

Mobile Science Exhibitor: This is meant for the Northern part of Indians only.

Interactivity: This includes the Science Picnics and the Guest Lectures etc.
