Khuni Darwaza is a majestic two storied gate that was built by Sher Shah Suri in the 16th century. It got its name from the merciless killings it witnessed, of the last of the Mughuls by the British when they came to massacre the established empire in Delhi. The last of the Mughul Empire, bahadur Shah Zafar was killed and displaye at the gate for public viewing.
