 The hill station of Kodaikanal is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. The Kodai Club is the representative and a masterwork of colonial India. The library of the club is well stocked with books of classical English literature. The walls of the club are decorated by heads of tiger and bison. The club has an eatery which serves delicious dishes of the British period.
The Lutheran Church of Kodaikanal is constructed out of Gothic stones and displays a few modern paintings portraying the life of Jesus. Near this church is the famous Christ the King Church, made out of granite with stained glass windows.
The Pillar Rocks are three vertical pillars that measure 112 meters and stand side by side. Most of the time the rocks are surrounded by mist which makes one feel whether he is hallucinating the misty pillars or not.
The Dolphin's Nose is a flat projecting rock located at distance of 8 kilometers from Kodaikanal, and this point offers a breathtaking view of the scenery below.
