FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
Investment grant ranging from 15% to 20% of fixed capital cost upto a
maximum of Rs. 2 mln. for units in specified locations.
Special grant upto Rs. 10 mln. for mega projects.
Higher grant for electronic industry upto Rs. 3.5 mln. Special Assis-
tance at the rate of 10% upto a maximum of Rs. 1.5 mln.for thrust
areas such as auto ancillaries, drugs and pharmaceuticals, food pro-
cessing, non-conventional energy devices, gold jewellery, etc.
FISCAL CONCESSIONS
Exemption/deferment of sales tax for the full value of investment for
a period of 5 to 14 years.
