FISCAL & FINANCIAL CONCESSIONS/INCENTIVES

Financial Incentives * Capital investment subsidy on fixed investment @ 15% subject to a
maximum of Rs. 1.5 mln. to large and medium industries and @ 20%
subject to a maximum of Rs. 2.0 mln. to SSI units.
* Large and medium industries which are 100% export oriented or re-
source based will get subsidy @ 20% subject to maximum of
Rs. 2.0. mln. * In No Industry District additional subsidy of 5% (maximum of
Rs. 0.5 mln.) is given to large and medium industries and 10%
(maximum of Rs. 1.0 mln.) to SSI units. * Additional grant at the rate of 2% of fixed capital cost of
labour intensive industries. * Power generation in the private sector will be encouraged.
