FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
- Capital investment grant of Rs. 5 mln. to cover fixed capital
costs in units with an investment of more than Rs. 1000 mln.
- Grant of Rs. 1.5 mln. if the investment is between Rs. 500 mln.
and Rs. 1000 mln.
- Grant of Rs. 1 mln. if the investment is between Rs. 100 mln. and
Rs. 500 mln.
- 50% additional capital investment grant if the unit is located in
certain identified areas.
- Capital investment grant to cover upto 25% of the investment in
fixed assets, subject to a maximum of Rs. 3 mln. for agrobased
and food processing industries.
- Capital investment grant to cover upto 15% of the investment in
fixed assets, subject to a maximum Rs. 1.5 mln. for electronic
industries. In certain identified areas, this incentive is 25%
subject to a maximum of Rs. 2.5 mln.
- Grant to meet a part of the cost of captive electricity
generating sets.
FISCAL CONCESSIONS
- Concessional power tariff for a period of five years.
- Exemption/deferment of sales tax upto Rs. 60 mln. for a period of
5 to 9 years, depending on the location of the unit.
- Reservation of plots for NRI's, Export Oriented Units and units
with foreign equity participation.
- Single window clearing agencies at the district and State level.
