Day 1: Arrival at Bangalore

After you arrival at the Bangalore airport you will receive a warm welcome from our tour executive. He will also escort you to the hotel. You will rest for the night at the hotel in Bangalore.

Day 2: From Bangalore to Mysore

Immediately after breakfast we will set out for the historical city of Mysore, which is about 128 km away. On the way we will visit the imposing Seringapatnam Fort. After reaching Mysore we shall check in to the hotel and have a good night's sleep. Day 3: Sight Seeing at Mysore

The whole day has been kept reserved for a sight seeing tour of the city. You will witness a brilliant example of Hoysala architecture, the Somnathpur temple. The exquisite sculptures of the temple will surely impress you.

Day 4: From Mysore to Nagerhole, Night Stay at Nagerhole

In the morning just after breakfast we will set out for the Nagerhole Forest situated at a distance of about 80 km. It surely promises to be a very adventurous trip. The Nagerhole Forest is dry, but the wild animals residing within it quench their thirst easily because of the presence of the Kabini Reservoir. After reaching, we will undertake a jungle Safari. This will definitely be thrilling and exciting.

Day 5: Stay at Nagerhole

The fun in Nagerhole continues even today. We will be going to explore the depths of the forests and watching the wild animals in yet another safari that will be undertaken today. You are also free to enjoy the nature walks. Boating is yet another favorable option. In the evening a camp fire will be organized and you will relish a great dinner in the warmth of the fire. A film will also be screened. What more can one ask for? This will definitely be a very entertaining and enjoyable day.

Day 6: From Nagerhole to Hassan

On this day, we will set out for Hassan. In the afternoon we will be visiting the beautiful temples at Belur and Halebid. Several Jain shrines are also to be seen in Halebid. All the temples are indeed remarkable for the superlative architectural skills that they display. You are sure to be stunned on seeing these splendid temples. At the end of the day long visit, we will retire to the hotel in Hassan.

Day 7: From Hassan to Hospet

The day begins with a journey to Hospet. We will have to cover a distance of about 325 km and so after reaching Hospet we will immediately check in to the hotel to rest. We need to get over the tiredness and prepare ourselves for the next day's outing.

Day 8: Excursion from Hospet

The eighth day of the Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage Tour will help you to take a walk back in time. You will get to see the ruins of Hampi which was once the capital city of the Vijaynagar Empire. It has the proud distinction of being a world heritage site. The remnants of the grand palaces and gateways that one gets to see here points to the dexterity of our craftsmen. You are sure to be impressed by this dream carved in stone.

Day 9: From Hospet to Badami, Night Stay at Badami

Today we will set out to visit the fort and the famous rock cut temples at Badami located at a distance of about 175 km. Badami was previously the capital of the Chalukyas. These temples are indeed architectural marvels and their composition and artistry is very elegant.

Day 10: Badami

We will be visiting the temples at Aihole and Pattadakal. Aihole heralded the beginning of temple architecture in India. Both these places represent the high point of an eclectic art and the monuments are very admirable indeed.

Day 11: From Badami to Dandeli

We will set out for the Dandeli Wild Life Sanctuary. All wildlife lovers will surely be enthralled on visiting this wild life sanctuary which houses an amazing variety of flora and fauna. It is very exciting to go for the jungle safari in the afternoon when you will be able to see the wild animals in their natural habitat.

Day 12: Dandeli

This day will also be devoted to Dandeli. The extensive depths of the forests cannot be covered in a single day and so we thought it would be best to go for jungle safaris in the morning and afternoon on this day as well. Dandeli is our halt for the night.

Day 13: From Dandeli to Goa

After covering a distance of 125 km we arrive at Goa. After arrival we check in to the hotel and then you can relax.

Day 14: Stay at Goa

Goa is a lovely sea side. You can spend the whole day basking in the sunny golden beaches. The sea is no less welcoming. A bath in the azure waters will certainly be very refreshing. Or else you can just stroll about and admire its scenic beauty - the beautiful beaches dotted with palm trees. You are on a holiday and these moments of pure leisure are very precious.

Day 15: From Goa to Mumbai

Today is the last day of the Karnataka Wildlife and Heritage Tour. You will be transferred to the airport so that you can board the flight to Mumbai. From Mumbai, you can board the flight back home.
